Piotr Bratkowski – a poet, a literary critic and a columnist. He made his debut in 1975 in the literary papers. In the eighties he was a columnist in a monthly magazine “Literature”. Since 1990 he has worked as a journalist, at first for “Gazeta Wyborcza”, later for “Rzeczpospolita”. Since 2001 he has been a member of the editorial section of “Newsweek”, where he held various positions such as social section manager and cultural section journalist. At the moment he is a columnist for the same weekly magazine.
