Kalin Lindena lives and works in Berlin. She graduated from the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig in 2004. Kalin Lindena tests the possibilities of combining sculpture, painting, architecture, theatre and ready-mades that largely pay tribute to the surrealistic traditions of Dada and Bauhaus’ arts and crafts, but also drawing a lot from the music and graffiti subcultures. Kalin Lindena has showed her solo work at KunstWerk Koln (2016), Sprengel Museum Hannover (2010), Cubitt London (2009) and Kunsthalle Baden-Baden (2009). Kalin Lindena has also participated in shows at the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius (2015), Tate Liverpool and the Secession in Vienna. Kalin Lindena is a professor at the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts.
