Born 1975 in Denmark. Lives and works in Malmö, Sweden. He graduated from Malmö Art Academy (2003-2005).

 

He employs photography and video to investigate notions of time, space, and memory, while reflecting on cultural and social forms of representation. Conceived as a collage of images, texts and sounds unfolding layer upon layer, his video work subly staddles and uncertain boundaries between reality and fiction. Combining found images from different sources with newly filmed material, Jørgensen fabricates a subjective version of events suffused with ambigity thus inviting a range of possible interpretations.
