The exhibition of works submitted to the competition constituted a substantial trace of the projects and designs the artists undertook inspired by the open space of the quarter of the Lower Town. They were answers to the expectations carried by the idea of the realisation of works of art on an area which is both architecturally difficult and under-invested.
The areas assigned for the realisation of the project were: Szopy Street, beginning at the Milkvat Gate, along the quaysides of the New Motlava to the junction with Dolna Street. Submitted works resulted from reflections on the need for annulling the distance between the Old Town and the Lower Town with the cultural institutions existing on their area.
The projects were displayed at the exhibition in the form of multimedia presentations.
